Is it Wrong for a Woman to Buy a Man to Win his Affection?
Dear Jason,
I am a self employed woman. There's a man I really like and he too is self employed. I have this tendancy of impressing my potential mates by taking them on extrodinary dates, i.e. a basketball game, where I know I can get really good tickets, plays and high class functions. Am I wrong to pursue a man this way or am I just an idiot?
Signed,
Winning my man!
Dear Winning my Man
I don't think a woman is an idiot for spending money on a man she wants, it can be flattering. Women have been seeking equality with men through the feminist movement. As an equal they should feel comfortable spending on dates or purchasing gifts. Men similar to women want to feel treasured and cherished, and appreciate bighearted women. Kindness is not a reflection of desperation, and similarly doesn't translate to pushiness.
