In our quest in how Technology today has changed how we interact with each other in the Adult World, I had a chance to interview Justin, Owner and Operator of the New York City based Kinky Productions. He began by sharing with me a little about himself and why he decided to join the Adult World.

Initially for Justin it was just about making money. More of a straight hardcore and model performer he found an interest in the Fetish/Adult film.  “The idea was just to make money of course”, he says but then his interested become more of a person behind the camera and managing his own film company.

His thoughts on the advantages and disadvantages of how technology works today for the Adult World that it didn’t before is that the advancement is because of the Internet but at the same time that’s what makes it bad. “Once upon a time back in the 80’s and 90’s if you wanted porn, you would go to the Adult video store. Now the Internet is over saturated with pornography and some of it not so great.”

What makes Affliction Films different from other Adult Film Companies today is that they are unique in they select for their films. “We only use real Dominas and not just take anyone off the street because they are interested in being an Adult ‘film star’. We prefer real and experienced Dominas.  We rarely take someone new, especially if they have disillusions about the Adult World.”

In using the concept of back to the basics, Affliction chooses to use people who have a real following like Julie Simone and Ms. Mona Rogers.

Listening to Justin and his passion for the Adult World in filming begged the question of who his market niche is. He mentions that the market is the “vanilla” world. A term widely used by the BDSM and Fetish world as those regarding people who are not avid practitioners  of bondage, however, do have an interest in Alternative Lifestyle but not having visual information readily available to them that is “user friendly”.

Because people have outrages (not that anyone in the BDSM world is that outrages - within limits) requests when it comes to hardcore bondage, I asked Justin if there was a time where someone requested something “unusual” that he had to turn away.  “Oh yeah, someone once wanted a strap on with Tiger Balm on it but because of liability reasons, we can’t go that route.” The idea is to serve up something professional, eye appealing and driving a real following into the market that people can enjoy and appreciate.

Because of careful choices, Affliction Films goals are to conquer an international market by serving quality over quantity.

On a personal note, Justin still enjoys being in front of the camera, with very little negative experience in filming, he’s looking forward to branding Affliction Films and having a place in what we know to be a very competitive world.
